Hong Kong Day2: Ocean Park

This is Day 2 of my suggested child-friendly itinerary for Hong Kong, when travelling with small kids.

I followed this itinerary and my kids were very happy with the trip.

On Day2, we went to Oceanpark.

Kids were thrilled to have found Nemo

Reaching OceanPark from Nathan Road, Kowloon:
Walk to the nearest MTR station.
If staying at Hotel Eaton, the nearest MTR station is Jordan, which is about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Locate the Tsuen Wan line (the Red line), and travel to Admiralty
With the help of the onboard map and the announcements, it is really easy to figure out when you reach Admiralty.

Here's the map of the Tsuen Wan line.

At Admiralty, take the Exit B out of the station, from where the Bus 629 departs to Oceanpark.
Discounted tickets:
At this exit B, we came across some travel agents standing and selling tickets to Oceanpark and Disneyland, with a substantial discount. Though initially a bit sceptical about purchasing tickets like this, we gave it a try and it turned out to be a good idea.

Returning from OceanPark to Jordan:
I had planned to take a cab back, as the kids might be too tired at the end of the day. But we ended up just taking the bus back to Admiralty, and then the MTR (Tung Chung line) back to Jordan, as it was really very convenient.

Some Shopping in the Evening:
As OceanPark closes at 6 pm, the rest of the evening can be spent in shopping along Tsim Sha Tsui, Nathan Road or at the Night market.

To reach the Night market, take exit A out of Jordan station and walk to the Temple street, which is around 3 blocks away.
